About Us

The Central Texas Bluebonnet Travel Council (CTBTC) was formed as a non-profit organization in 1992 by a group of representatives in the tourism industry who wanted to better promote the small cities in the central Texas region. The goal is to allow smaller cities the opportunity to combine efforts for a greater impact.

Our mission is to promote a multi county area of central Texas through a cooperative promotional effort of Chambers of Commerce, Convention & Visitor Bureaus, hotels, restaurants, attractions, and others in the tourism industry. This effort will allow the members to network ideas, pool resources, and cross sell communities within the region to further develop the tourism industry and increase the flow of tourism dollars to our communities.

We accomplish this mission by providing an inexpensive venue for its members to promote their area through the brochure, group travel guide, web site, co-op travel shows, and quarterly meetings.
